The marshyangdi river rafting is one of the best white water rafting destinations in the world. Two days rafting has become one of the best river rafting in Nepal. Flowing through the gorges of the Annapurnas, it runs sandwiched between 52 km of boiling foam and towering peaks. The trips start with the bus ride from dumre to besisahar, from there start small beautiful trek up to nagdi village with view of annapurna and manasalu himal. It is also possible to make 3days trek and 2 days raft trip from nagdi downstream to the end of the trip at the dam site above phaliya sangu, it is pretty much solid white water.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Transfer to Khudi via Besisahar about 7 hours bus drive and camp.

Day 02: Raft 5 hours and camp nearby Besisahar after running class 4/5 rapids.

Day 03: Transfer below Marsyangdi hydroelectric Dam and start rafting till Paundi and camp.

Day 04: Raft 3 hours and Finish near Dumre and transfer 3 hours to Pokhara by minibus.
